In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, and in an abundance of caution, the Office for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion will be working on a hybrid platform.

During this time, OEDI will hold in-person and virtual walk-in hours.

Staff members in the Office for Civil Rights and Title IX will host office hours Monday through Friday.  Pitt community members can use these office hours to request an interim measure or accommodation, connect to support resources, or report a concern involving harassment, discrimination or sexual misconduct.  Community members can also schedule an appointment by calling 412-648-7860 or emailing

  • Monday and Wednesday, 2pm – 3pm

  • Tuesday and Thursday, 10am – 11:30am

  • Fridays, Noon – 1pm

For the virtual option please use the following information
Passcode: OEDI

Please use the Pitt Concern Connection to report concerns and incidents. You can also contact our office via the main phone line 412-648-7860 and someone will respond within the business day.

If you are not feeling well, please do not come to the office, instead contact our office and someone will meet with you digitally.

If you are experiencing a crisis or are in an emergency situation, please contact the Pitt Police at 412-624-2121 or dial 911.

OEDI and PAAR Walk-In Hours

The Sexual Violence Prevention and Education Office is excited to partner with Pittsburgh Action Against Rape (PAAR) to offer confidential walk-in services with PAAR survivor advocates.  PAAR advocates will be on campus to provide in-person support to any student, staff or faculty member who has been impacted by sexual misconduct.    PAAR services are trauma-informed and inclusive.

PAAR Office Hours will take place on the 31st floor of the Cathedral of Learning. Visitors will see directional signage posted when they get off the elevator.
