Jason Togyer

Jason (Jay) Togyer joined OEDI from Mon Valley Initiative, where he worked for more than six years as manager of communications. He previously worked for the University of Pittsburgh as associate editor of Pitt Magazine, senior editor of Pitt Med Magazine, and senior web content editor before becoming assistant director of communications for Carnegie Mellon University’s School of Computer Science, where he was editor of The Link Magazine.

He and his spouse reside in the Mon Valley, where he serves as volunteer executive director of a community journalism website called Tube City Community Media Inc., treasurer of the McKees Point Development Group, and a director of the G.C. Murphy Co. Foundation.
