Stevvaie Brown

Stevvaie Brown is the Civil Rights and Advocacy Response Manager.  In her role she provides a response to the civil rights harassment and discrimination reports that come to the Office of Civil Right and Title IX.  She is responsible for coordinating and assisting departments and programs with climate concerns, educating and training to promote an inclusive cultural, and assessing the training/delivery platform of trainings at the University. Prior to joining the Office for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion, Stevvaie worked for 6 years at Allegheny County.  She held positions as a Caseworker II and a Casework Specialist.  Stevvaie earned her Master’s degree in Criminal Justice Administration (2013) from Point Park University.
