Dr. Khirsten L. Scott is a daughter of the US South and a community-driven educator. She studies and writes about HBCUs and their survival within US Higher Education. She is co-founder and director of DBLAC and lead organizer and facilitator of HYPE (Homewood Youth-Powered and Engaged) Media.
